In celebration of our 2013 State Fair theme CHICKS DIG IT and NATIONAL DANCE LIKE A CHICKEN DAY, May 14, 2013,
we’re offering a chance to WIN CONCERT TICKETS for the 2013 Missouri State Fair!
Shake your tail feathers and strut your stuff, it’s time to get funky and enter the CHICKEN DANCE VIDEO CONTEST!
Contest Information:
Video should be no longer than 1 minute in length and should incorporate the traditional chicken dance moves. Actual chicken dance background music may be used or entrants can sing or play the tune. FUN and CREATIVITY are encouraged!
Two Ways to Enter:
1. Email your chicken dance video to mostatefair@gmail.com. Videos must be formatted as either .MOV, .AVI or .MP4. Be sure to include your name, address and telephone number in the body of the email.
2. Email a YouTube link to your video to mostatefair@gmail.com. If your video is selected as the winner, you will need to provide the original file in either .MOV, .AVI or MP4 format.
Deadline to send in videos is 5 p.m. June 10. One entry per household. Inappropriate content on videos will automatically be disqualified and will be at the discretion of the Missouri State Fair.
How Will You Be Judged?
The panel of judges, chosen by the Missouri State Fair, will judge the videos. Entrants are encouraged to have fun and show off their creativity.
Winners will be notified by July 1.
What do you Win?
The winner will receive two grandstand tickets to the Chris Cagle/Will Hoge concert at the 2013 Missouri State Fair, Aug 8. The winner’s video may also be featured on the Pepsi Grandstand big-screens to play before and/or during 2013 concerts!
The video and word selection are at the sole discretion of the entrant, however, any words, actions and photos deemed vulgar or inappropriate by the Missouri State Fair will be disqualified. Entering the contest is an agreement to allow the Missouri State Fair to post entries in part or in full on Facebook, YouTube or on the Missouri State Fair Website.
