Local Red Hatters Host the First Red Hat Day at the Missouri State Fair!		New 2008 Missouri State Fair Cookbook available at this year's fair!
Attention all Red and Pink Hatters, local chapters have been busy preparing a memorable day for you at the 2008 Missouri State Fair in Sedalia. "Go 4 It!" August 13 starting at 9:00 a.m.! Activities and competitions are planned until 5:00 p.m. that are sure to make it an eventful day at the fair! The evening concert in the Pepsi Grandstand is Leroy Van Dyke and the Gold Country Tour. The local chapters are encouraging other chapters across Missouri and beyond to join them. Some of the activities will be a Golf Cart Contest and a Decorated Red Hat Contest. A Red/Pink Hat Cobbler Contest is being sponsored by Starline, Inc. and Sierra Bullets; details for this specific contest can be found after May 1 in the Premium Guide under Home Economics. There will be sizeable cash awards for the Cobbler Contest. Visit these links for complete details.
