Lunch Bunch on the Fairgrounds

(SEDALIA, Mo.) – The 2007 Missouri State Fair welcomes visitors to enjoy lunch on the fairgrounds August 13-16. Missouri State Fair Director Marion Lucas wants to invite everyone to take a break from the workplace.

Diners can purchase an $8 admission ticket at the Lunch Bunch Booth located at the Centennial Gate, and those who return the ticket before 2 p.m. will receive a full refund.

“This has been a favorite deal of fairgoers for many years,” said Lucas. “People can enjoy fair food and take in a free show or exhibit without the price of admission if they return to the Lunch Bunch Booth by 2 o’clock.”

According to Lucas, 50 new benches have been added through out the grounds this season making it easy to find an area to enjoy your lunch on the beautiful park-like grounds. He added that water misters are being added in 5 locations to help provide relief from the recent triple-digit temperatures.
