Sale of Champions

We invite you to attend the 2020 Missouri State Fair Sale of Champions at 1:30 pm on Saturday, Aug 22 in the Lowell Mohler Assembly Hall on the Fairgrounds. Eleven lots will be sold featuring the Junior Show Grand Champion & Reserve Grand Champion Steers, Barrows, Lambs, Meat Goats and Pens of Chickens in addition to a Sale of Champions commemorative belt buckle.

Virtual opportunities are also available to watch/participate in the Sale of Champions:

Champion Ham and Bacon

The Grand and Reserve Grand Champion Hams and Grand Champion Bacon will be auctioned off starting at noon on Friday, Aug 14 in the Swine Barn. Proceeds from the Sale will be used to pay exhibitor premiums and fund youth in agriculture scholarships and youth carcass show premiums.

Sign Up for Weather Alerts

Exhibitors and others planning to attend the Youth Livestock Show should sign up to receive text message updates on weather and other public safety concerns through Pettis County Nixle Alerts. This service is available to help keep fairgoers informed about public safety, such as possible updates of inclement weather, that could arise during the Missouri State Fair. Messages are for informational purposes only and do not replace other warnings or directives in an emergency situation. There is no fee for this service, but individual cell phone text service charges do apply.
