While these NEW items are listed, they do not replace exhibitor’s requirement for reading ALL of the General Rules & Regulation, Animal Health Requirements, and Department Rules & Regulations.

Vendor Input Form

Submitted entries MUST match the name submitted on completed vendor input form. Entries and vendor input forms cannot be submitted under nicknames, non-legal farm names, middle names, etc.

If entries do not correspond with the name on the vendor input form, delay of premium payments will occur.

22 In-Hand Trail, Miniature Horse 40″ & under, cannot be ridden at show
23 In-Hand Trail, Pony 41″-58″, cannot cross enter in mounted trail

Draft Horses – New Classes
3 Men’s Mare Cart (all breeds)
58 Lady’s Mare Cart (all breeds)

Show-Me Futurity Classes
37 Weanling (at halter) both sexes
38 Yearling (at halter) both sexes
39 2 Year Olds (at halter) both sexes
52 Show-Me Futurity – Obstacle Course – Single horse in harness with appropriate cart (both sexes)
54 Show Me Classic (Open Draft Horse, 6 horse hitch, anyone may enter) (all draft horse breeds) (both mares & geldings)
55 Show-Me Futurity Cart Class – Must have shown in Class 39, to be able to enter this class

4-H & FFA Livestock Shows

4-H/FFA Beef – Breeding Classes for Heifers & Bulls:
Exhibitors must refer to the Open Show and use those class numbers for 4-H, FFA and Open, with the exception that there are no group classes in 4-H/FFA and 4-H does not offer Senior Yearling Bull class (FFA only)

Youth Beef Cattle Judging Contest – Thursday, August 11th, at 5 p.m. – Coliseum

4-H/FFA Showmanship Contest For Steers, Market Heifers and Crossbred Heifers, Junior Exhibitors – MUST be pre-entered by July 25.

4-H/FFA Boer Goats – Show time changed. 4-H/FFA Commercial Meat Goat Breeding Doe Show – Sheep Pavilion (after conclusion of the 4-H/FFA Showmanship) –Tuesday, August 9

4-H/FFA Rabbits – All meat pen exhibitors or family members or someone approved by the Superintendent will be allowed to weigh-in meat pen for exhibitors. Weigh-in will start after 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August, 17, 2022.

4-H/FFA Swine – Crossbred boars, gilts and barrow will be broken in to Dark Colored and Light Colored.

Open Livestock Shows

Beef
All exhibitors, except beef cattle, must bring their own bedding during the 2022 Fair. Livestock exhibitors are also expected to bring their own feed – additional feed and bedding will not be available for purchase during the Fair.

As part of the bedding project, beef cattle exhibitors will be provided Premium Missouri Mulch bedding for $10 per head to be paid along with entries. No other bedding will be allowed for beef cattle including sawdust, pellets, etc. Dairy cattle exhibitors may continue adding straw to the bedding. All exhibitors should practice good environmental stewardship, keeping the bedding clean and free of glass, plastics, cans and other trash for the purposes of the Fair’s recycling agreement.
