Section A: Missouri State Fair Championship Truck & Tractor Pull – Grandstand
***Separate entry form and $38 hook fee & $2 processing fee per class must be mailed to the address on the entry form postmarked by August 1, 2026. No entries will be accepted after August 1.

Rules and Regulations
Official’s decision is final.
- Drivers under 16 years of age must have parent’s or guardian’s written consent.
- Consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited. No foul or abusive language.
- Drivers must follow proper safety guidelines: Drivers must be firmly seated at all times, no bouncing permitted. Drivers must have at least one hand on steering wheel. Feet must be in general vicinity of clutch and brakes at all times.
- Tractors must be operated in a safe manner at all times.
- Weights must be securely fastened. If ANYTHING falls off, the tractor will be disqualified.
- All vehicles will have tip-over bars, no wheels as or on tip-over bars.
- Any protest must be made before tractor being protested leaves the track.
- Pulling vehicle must remain in bounds at all times. Out of bounds will result in disqualification. No measurement will be taken following a disqualification.
- If there is a problem with a puller or their vehicle, officials must be notified before the vehicle leaves the track.
- When there is only one (1) exhibit in a class, the exhibitor will receive half of the premium money for the placing awarded by the judge.
- The Missouri State Fair does not guarantee premium money, merchandise, prizes or special awards. Because the State Fair Commission is without constitutional or statutory authority to borrow money for its operation, it reserves the right to prorate premium money because of state budget restraints.
- All tractor classes except class 28, maximum of 7100 ‘P’ pump, 13 mm maximum.
- All ICE must be added to intercoolers before leaving scales.
- Speed limit for all vehicles is 5 mph in the pits.
- NO receiver hitch on any trucks.
- Pulling vehicle may hook TWICE on Sunday or ONE time for Sunday class and ONE time for Monday class.
- All classes must have fire-suit and helmet.
- No headlights on when hooked to sled.
- The first official hook in each class will be the option puller. The option puller will come back to re hook immediately 6th, or last measurable position with 2 attempts.
- Each puller will have 2 attempts if stopped prior to 100 foot on the 1st attempt. 100 ft flagman decision is final.
- In the event of a sled reweight the puller(s) have the option to come back immediately or in the last position.
- NO ONE is allowed to ride on or in a pulling vehicle while inside of pit area or track. NO ONE is allowed on track but the officials and puller.
All classes must have 3″ wide x 3 3/4″ long hitch hole.
All tractors in RPM classes need a 3 hole female plug for the RPM box, RPM box must read before green flag.
All Diesel trucks must have kill switch and it must work. If kill switch is not in working order or accessible the vehicle will be disqualified.
Any truck with airbags – Missouri State Fair is not responsible for deployment.
All tractors must have no more than a ten degree angle on hitch.

Rules and Regulations
Official’s decision is final.
- Drivers under 16 years of age must have parent’s or guardian’s written consent.
- Consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited. No foul or abusive language.
- PTO’s SHOULD BE REMOVED OR COVERED.
- Drivers must follow proper safety guidelines: Drivers must be firmly seated at all times, no bouncing permitted. Drivers must have at least one hand on steering wheel. Feet must be in general vicinity of clutch and brakes at all times.
- No radial tires allowed and no locked differentials.
- Tractors can enter 3 classes.
- Front weights can go no more than 11 feet from center of rear axle.
- Weights must be securely fastened. If ANYTHING falls off, the tractor will be disqualified.
- This rule is for all sections below with exception of section K for uncut tires. Minimum drawbar length is 18″ from center of rear axle to point of hook, measured horizontally. Drawbar to be stationary in all directions. Maximum height 20″, from top hitching point parallel to ground. Hitching hook on sled must fit freely in hooking device on tractor, no obstruction of chain or hook, and no springs on hitch mechanism. All classes must have 3″ wide by 3 3/4″ long hitch hole.
- All pulling vehicles will have tip-over bars, no wheels as or on tip-over bars.
- Tractors must be two-wheel drive. No crawlers or dual wheels.
- The first pull in each class is entitled to re-pull, but must take the 3rd or 6th position and must take the 2nd measurement.
- NO ONE is allowed to ride on or in a pulling vehicle while inside of pit area. NO ONE is allowed on track but officials and puller.
- NO FUEL MIXTURES ALLOWED.
- Pulling vehicle must remain in bounds at all times. Out of bounds will result in disqualification.
- If there is a problem with a puller or their vehicle, officials must be notified before the vehicle leaves the track.
- When there is only one (1) exhibit in a class, the exhibitor will receive half of the premium money for the placing awarded by the judge.
- The Missouri State Fair does not guarantee premium money, merchandise, prizes or special awards. Because the State Fair Commission is without constitutional or statutory authority to borrow money for its operation, it reserves the right to prorate premium money because of state budget restraints.
- No shifting in any class.
- All tractors must be naturally aspirated.
Truck & Tractor Pulls – Section C
- Pullers must comply with all general rules and regulations.
- Speed limit for all vehicles is 5 mph in the pits.
- NO receiver hitch on any trucks.
- All classes must have fire-suit.
- All tractors equipped with roll cage MUST wear a helmet.
- Each puller will have 2 attempts if stopped prior to 100′ on the 1st attempt. 100′ flagman decision is final.
- In the event of a sled reweight the puller(s) have the option to come back immediately or in the last position.
- All tractors must have no more than a ten degree angle on hitch.
Classes
- 5500 Non Turbo Tractor – NWMTPA rules
- 6500 Non Turbo Tractor – NWMTPA rules
- 3800 lb. 2 WD Mini-Truck – Must have RPM Box, DOT tires, 7000 RPM (will be D.Q. if RPM box does not work), 2900 lb. Bar Tires – No RPM limit.
Section H – Antique Tractor Pull – Small Tire – Division 3
Max of 15.5 x 38 Tires, 1959 & Older Top Cut Tires- NATPA Rule
- Pullers must comply with all general rules and regulations.
- All tractors must be equipped for the year and model or factory replacement. AC, WC can use D-17 engine, John Deere can use power blocks. No block spacer plate. 10% over standard R.P.M. for the model.
- Tire size 15.5 x 38 and under, no rim limit. No grinding on tire sizes. No excessive cutting on wheels beyond an unsafe point. Judge’s decision final.
- All tractors may pull in any gear, not to exceed 4 MPH. If tractor exceeds 4 MPH after first 100 feet pulled, tractor will be disqualified.
- Serial numbers will be checked, and RPM may be checked; pullers’ responsibility. Drawbars and weights will be checked.
- All tractors must have positive stop throttle.
- All tractors may be checked after pull.
- Two attempts can be made to start sled while on track; if not, tractor is eliminated. If tractor is stopped within first 50′, the puller is entitled to his second attempt.
- Classes: H1-3250#, H2-3500#, H3-3750#, H4-4000#, H5-4500#, H6-5000#, H7-5500#, H8-6000#
- Trophies: 3 per class.
Section J – Antique Tractor Pull – Division 3
Max of 18.4 x 38 tires, 1959 & Older Full Cut Tires
- Pullers must comply with all general rules and regulations.
- No torque shifting or locked rear ends.
- No excessive stripping, must remain stock appearance; however cut off axles and cut wheels allowed.
- Tractors allowed 20% over factory RPM and must have positive stop throttle.
- All tractors must be equipped for the year and model or factory replacement parts. AC, WC, WD, WD45 and use D17 engine. International H350 and M450, John Deere can use power blocks. No block spacer plate. John Deere Letter Series may run 2 barrel carburetor.
- All tractors may pull in any gear, not to exceed 4 MPH. If tractor exceeds 4 MPH after first 100 feet pulled, tractor will be disqualified.
- If a tractor is stopped within the first 50 feet, the puller is entitled to a restart.
- Classes: J1-3500#, J2-4000#, J3-4500#, J4-5000#, J5-5500#, J6-6000#, J7-6500#, J8-7000#, J9-7500#, 18.4 x 38 tires and under. No rim limit.
- Trophies: 3 per class.
Section K – Antique Tractor Pull – Division 2
Uncut Tires – 1965 & Older
- Pullers must comply with all general rules and regulations.
- All tractors must be equipped for the year and model or factory replacement. AC, WC can use D-17 engine, John Deere can use power blocks. No block spacer plate. 10% over standard RPM for the model.
- Tire size can be a maximum of 16.9 x 34 with no rim limit. No grinding on tire size. No excessive cutting on wheels beyond an unsafe point. Judge’s decision is final. No factory purposely molded pulling tire.
- Draw bars must be 18 x 18 measured from center of rear axle. Weights may be placed up to 11′ in front of tractor measuring for the center of rear axle. Serial numbers will be checked, and RPM may be checked; pullers’ responsibility. Drawbars and weights will be checked.
- All tractors may pull in any gear, not to exceed 4 mph. If tractor exceeds 4 mph after first 100 feet pulled, tractor will be disqualified.
- All tractors must have positive stop throttle.
- All tractors may be checked after pull.
- If tractor is stopped within first 50′, the puller is entitled to his second attempt.
- Classes: K1-3250, K2-3500, K3-3750, K4-4000, K5-4500, K6-5000, K7-5500, K8-6000, K9-6500.
- Class: K10-7500, K11-8500# these classes may run tire size 18.4×38, with no rim limit.
- Trophies: 3 per class.
Section L – Classic Tractor Pull – Division 5
- Pullers must comply with all general rules and regulations.
- Tractors must be 1958 or older. Any tractor in question as to being 1958 or older must have serial number in proper place that can be easily read. Tractors must have stock block, no increase height in any blocks (deck plates, shims or girdles) except for stock gaskets and no external parts manufactured for tractors built later than 1958. Any tractor that has a serial number or parts to make a newer tractor appear legal will be disqualified. No altered frames. John Deere Letter Series may run 2 barrel carburetor.
- All fans, PTO or exposed moving parts that were shielded at the factory must have shields in place.
- R.P.M. rule: 30% over stock from R.P.M. sheet.
- 18.4.38 Max tire size. Cut or ground tires are permitted. Pressed steel wheels are permitted.
- No grinding on tire sizes.
- If tractor is stopped within first 50′, the puller is entitled to a restart.
- Classes: L1-4000#, L2-4500#, L3-5000#, L4-5500#, L5-6000#.
- All classes have 8 mph speed limit.
- Trophies: 3 per class.
Section R: Missouri State Fair Championship – Garden Tractor & Mini Rod Pull

- Drivers must follow proper safety guidelines: Drivers must be firmly seated at all times, no bouncing permitted. Drivers must have at least one hand on steering wheel. Feet must be in general vicinity of clutch and brakes at all times.
- Tractors must be operated in a safe manner at all times.
- Weights must be securely fastened. If ANYTHING falls off, the tractor will be disqualified.
- All tractors must have a sufficient device to prevent the tractor from turning over. Either skid plates or dolly wheels must be used one on each side of the drawbar. Wheels must be at least 4″ diameter 1″ wide. Skid plates must be at least 5″ from the back edge of the rear tires. The bottom of the wheel or skid plate must not be more than 5″ above the ground.
- No part of the wheelie bar device should interfere with the sled chain.
- All tractors must have a working kill switch fastened to the tractor that doesn’t interfere with weight or sled hitching device.
- Any protest must be made before tractor being protested leaves the track. Protest will be $50.00.
- Pulling vehicle must remain in bounds at all times. Out of bounds will result in disqualification. No measurement will be taken following a disqualification.
- If there is a problem with a puller or their vehicle, officials must be notified before the vehicle leaves the track.
- When there is only one (1) exhibit in a class, the exhibitor will receive half of the premium money for the placing awarded by the judge.
- The Missouri State Fair does not guarantee premium money, merchandise, prizes or special awards. Because the State Fair Commission is without constitutional or statutory authority to borrow money for its operation, it reserves the right to prorate premium money because of state budget restraints.
- All pullers must wear closed toed shoes (tennis shoes/boots) and full length pants. DOT approved helmet, all alcohol vehicle pullers must wear fire suit and helmet.
- Class 1 through 5 can be gas or diesel.
- Classes 2, 4, 8, and 9 are single cylinders only.
- All classes will pull starting in the morning session. There will be 1 trophy per class with exception of class 1 and 15. Class 1 and 15 will also receive ribbons.
- 13″ or under drawbar, 26-12-12 Maximum tire size.
- All classes will follow all above listed safety rules.

- Stock Youth (ages 5 to 13 yrs. old)
- Must have dead-man device or kill cord with adult walking beside the vehicle (4 mph speed limit)
- If running 26″ tires weigh 800# all others 825#

- 14 HP & under, 23″ tires w/2%, 5 mph speed limit
