  1. “Best of Missouri Sale” The sale benefits the Missouri State Fair Youth in Agriculture Scholarship program & highlights division champion products.
  2. Top 2 Junior Exhibitor Hams, top 2 Junior Exhibitor Bacons, Junior Exhibitor Steer Carcass Champion and Reserve Champion, Junior Exhibitor Barrow Carcass Champion and Reserve Champion, Junior Exhibitor Lamb Carcass Champion and Reserve Champion, Junior Exhibitor Meat Goat Carcass Champion and Reserve Champion, Award-Winning Missouri Grown Product Baskets, Best of Class Cheese, Best of Class Missouri Wine Collection and Governor’s Cup Wine Honoree.
  3. All above items will sell in the 2026 Best Of Missouri Sale.
  4. All items in the sale must meet requirements and follow the regulations of their respective divisions as listed in the Missouri State Fair premium guide.
  5. The Missouri State Fair will perform tests and reserves the right to test any of the above listed items.
  6. Penalties for any person accused of a violation of the rules and regulations governing the Sale of Champions may result in any or all of the following:
    A. Withholding or return of payment for the animal or exhibit,
    premiums and awards.
    B. Suspension from future exhibiting at the Missouri State Fair for a length of time to be determined by the Missouri State Fair Commission or the Director of the Missouri State Fair on behalf of the Commission. Suspensions can be for any length of time and may be permanent.
    C. Probationary exhibiting at the Missouri State Fair for a length of time and under such terms and conditions to be determined by the Missouri State Fair Commission or the Director of the Missouri State Fair on behalf of the Commission.
    D. Assessment of any other penalty determined by the Missouri State Fair Commission or the Director of the Missouri State Fair on behalf of the Commission.
  7. The Missouri State Fair will award banners to exhibitors and buyers of all the sale lots.
  8. The Missouri Department of Agriculture will broadcast the auction live at Facebook.com/MoAgriculture.
  9. The auction will be broadcast live via several radio stations.
  10. Checks should be made payable to “Youth in Agriculture Fund”. Exhibitors will be paid by the Missouri State Fair Foundation, Youth in Agriculture Fund, providing both the exhibitor and the animal or items participating in the Sale of Champions have met all requirements.
  11. A commission charge of 25% will be levied against all youth projects. These funds will be utilized in the Youth In Ag scholarship Fund to award scholarships to the youth of our state.
    A commission charge of 100% will be levied against all non-youth projects and will become a part of the Youth In Agriculture Scholarship Fund.

The Missouri State Fair Foundation Youth in Agriculture Committee awards college scholarships to Missouri State Fair exhibitors who are active members of 4-H or FFA, and plan to attend a college, university, or technical school.  The Scholarship Program is celebrating over 30 years awarding over one million dollars since 1992!
