St. Vincent de Paul, located in Pettis County Missouri, became one parish on September 22, 2019. St. Vincent was the name of the original Catholic Church in Sedalia, Missouri. Prior to September 22, 2019, Pettis County was home to three Catholic parishes: St. Patrick, St. John the Evangelist and Sacred Heart. With much hard work, faith and hope, under the leadership of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood, Fr. Mark Miller, C.PP.S. began the enormous task of bringing us together as one parish. Fr. Mark along with the leadership of all three parishes worked with the Bishop McKnight and Diocese of Jefferson City, to unite us as one parish. While it was a difficult decision and done with much prayer it was decided to move forward.
