Military Appreciation Day exhibits will be hosted in the Lowell Mohler Assembly Hall. Explore a variety of exhibits honoring our service members and check back often for updates:

- Military Resource Fair for organizations and agencies who provide support services for active duty military, veterans and their families. Organizations and agency’s include the following (check back often for updates):
- Boonville Valley Hope: A drug and alcohol treatment center.
- Charlie 22 Outdoors: is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans through outdoor experiences, fellowship, encouragement, and community connection.
- Columbia Vet Center (Mobile Unit): Provide individual, group, couples, and family counseling to talk through problems, brainstorm solutions, discuss what resources are available, and work with you to create effective and practical plans for your personal growth.
- Dept. of MO Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States: is a 501© 19 Veterans organization helping veterans, veteran’s families, those still serving and their communities. Local Posts throughout the State perform a myriad of community service projects and programs.
- Fisher House at Harry S. Truman Memorial Hospital: A home away from home. The Fisher House program has helped families stay with loved ones receiving care at major military and VA medical centers. Because we believe “A family’s love is good medicine.” These homes provide free, temporary lodging to military and veteran families so they can be close to their loved ones during medical crisis.
- First Command: Coaching those who serve in their pursuit of financial security.
- The Freedom 13: We build year-round recreation healing camps for veterans, first responders, and Gold Star families. We were founded after the tragic suicide bombing at the Abbey Gate in Kabul, Afghanistan on August 26, 2021 in honor of Marine LCpl Jared Schmitz and the other 12 service members lost that terrible day.
- George A. Whiteman Memorial Post 642: Non-profit organization geared toward serving our military and their families, to our community and to our youth.
- Harry S. Truman VA: Here at Harry S. Truman VA we strive to serve the Veterans who served our Country. We hope to get as many veterans as we can enrolled at this event along with helping them answer any questions they may have.
- K9s On The Front Line: A non-profit that provides service dogs free of charge to veterans and first responders.
- Missouri National Guard Retirement Services: Assists Missouri National Guard retirees, and their family members with processes of working through their retirement pay and entitlements.
- Missouri Veterans Hall of Fame: The MO Hall of Fame recognizes Missourians who served in the military and then continue to contribute to their communities, state, and nation in exemplary manners in the areas of: Civic and Public Service, Professional Distinction, Veteran Advocacy and Volunteerism.
- MO Department of Health & Senior & Disability Services: The Leader in advocating, partnering, protecting & supporting seviors & persons with disabilities to be safe, healthy & independent.
- Patriot Guard Riders: A 100% volunteer non-profit organization which ensures dignity and respect at memorial services honoring Fallen Military Heros, first responders, and honorably discharged veterans.
- Pettis County VFW Post 2591: Veterans of foreign wars assisting Veterans throughout Missouri.
- Retrieving Freedom: is to change lives through the training and placement of Service Dogs for Veterans with disabilities and children with autism, at zero cost to the clients.
- Quilts of Valor: Quilts of Valor Foundation awards active military and veterans a quilt of valor. This quilt is a healing quilt to provide comfort and to let our military and veterans know we DO appreciate their service, regardless of the conflicts they served in.
- Veterans Community Project: an organization fixing Veteran homelessness across the United States. Our organization was founded in 2016 by combat Veterans who saw firsthand the challenges of returning to civilian life and who shared a dedication to do better for those who served our country. Their solution to Veteran homelessness is bold, yet simple: 240 square feet of dignity with 1:1 support to help Veterans get back on their feet—and continue standing. Since welcoming our first residents in 2018, this model has shown an 85% success rate.

- Welcome Home: A Community for Veterans: Key Programs: Emergency and Transitional Shelter Program & Permanent Housing Program. Wrap-around supportive services include, but are not limited to: case management, housing and employment assistance, connection to benefits and resources, well-balanced meals, transportation, and basic supplies and essentials.
