Bring your kiddos by the Ag Building for an Ag Venture. This year’s exhibit will be themed Missouri’s Bicentennial to celebrate the state’s 200th birthday!
This year, the AgVenture exhibit in the Agriculture Building will showcase the history of Missouri agriculture in honor of the Bicentennial Celebration! Fairgoers will be able to travel around the state on a large floor map to learn about agriculture in Missouri’s different regions: from the unique crops grown in the Bootheel to the grain and cattle in the northern part of our state and everything in between. Notable displays include a visual history of the advancement of farm equipment, a sensory table where you can touch different grains grown in Missouri, and examples of forestry products from around the state. Live corn, soybean, cotton, rice, grain sorghum, peanut and potato plants will be on display. Kids will receive a bag full of information and activities from Missouri commodity groups at the conclusion of their trip around the state.
