Rules and Regulations
- Entries must be composed of couples 55 years of age or older. Deadline for entries is noon the day of the competition. Advance entries can be made on-line at: HEALTH.MO.GOV/SENIORDAY or by mail to Kathy Craig, Missouri Waltz Dance Contest, P.O. Box 570, Jefferson City, MO 65102-0570.
- Participants in each category will dance to compatible music until they are eliminated. Judging will begin promptly at 12:30 p.m., August 19.
- Participants must pay admission to the Fair.; August 13-23, seniors are admitted for $10.
- Cash prizes will be presented to the first three places in each of the classes as follows:
- Waltz: First $100, Second $75, Third $50
- Cha-Cha: First $100, Second $75, Third $50
- East Coast Swing: First $100, Second $75, Third $50
- Two Step: First $100, Second $75, Third $50
- Line Dance: First $100, Second $75, Third $50
